Business Mentor Request - £30
Business mentors are individuals who will share their considerable knowledge and expertise with entrepreneurs looking to grow their business. As experienced and successful business people, they understand the issues you face as a business owner and can encourage you to look at your business from a distance.
YABA is able to offer you access to over seventy experienced business people who are willing and able to provide mentoring support. These skilled business mentors can give support and guidance when looking at the strategic options for growing your business, in developing effective structures & systems and in sourcing growth finance. Over forty of these mentors have indicated an interest in helping social enterprises.
What to do now
Contact us on 01423 810149 to discuss your mentoring opportunity. A short mentor request application form will be emailed followed by an invoice for the £30 mentor request publication fee. Please note that payment must be received in advance to ensure publication.
Your completed mentor request form will be published on the secure area of the YABA website and is only available for current members to view. A brief profile of your request will be sent to all the potential mentors with a link to the login area of the website. After reading your mentor request and summary document, any interested parties will then contact you direct by email or telephone.
The decision to select a mentor is entirely yours and YABA stipulates that business mentors act as individuals and are not recommended by YABA.
Your business mentor may act on a voluntary basis or may negotiate payment ranging from a free initial meeting or simply covering their expenses to an hourly or daily rate.
