Business mentors are individuals who will share their considerable knowledge and experience with entrepreneurs looking to grow their business.  As experienced and successful business people, they understand the issues you face as a business owner and can encourage you to look at your business from a distance.

YABA is able to offer access to over seventy experienced business people who are willing and able to provide mentoring support to entrepreneurs looking to grow their business.  These skilled business mentors can give support and guidance in looking at the strategic options for growing your business, developing effective structures and systems and in seeking growth finance.  Over forty of these mentors have indicated an interest in helping social enterprises. 

Your completed mentor request form will be published to the YABA extranet and an email profile will be sent to all the potential mentors - any interested parties will then contact you direct by email or telephone.  The decision to select a mentor is entirely yours and YABA stipulates that business mentors act as individuals and are not recommended by YABA.

Your business mentor may act on a voluntary basis or may negotiate payment ranging from a free initial meeting or simply covering their expenses to an hourly or daily rate.
