Yorkshire is bursting with science and technology entrepreneurs who are busy creating ideas that will change the world.
Venturefest is a packed on e day event that showcases and supports these entrepreneurs.
The 2012 Venturefest Yorkshire event will take place on 08 February at York Racecourse. It will involve:
- breakfast networking event & other innovative networking sessions
- an Investment Competition organised by Yorkshire Association of Business Angels in which a minimum of 6 pre-selected participants from science, technology or innovative businesses will pitch to not only seek investment but also win a support prize worth in the region of £30,000
- an Innovation Showcase where we select 36 of the best science, technology or innovative businesses in the region to exhibit and promote their new ideas
- a variet of seminars and a high profile debate all designed to educate and inspire both the entrepreneurs of today and in the future
- a dinner & awards ceremony
- opportunities for young people to showcase their enterprising potential
- a large exhibition where delegates can network with suppliers, select new partners for future advice and make procurement decisions
