Venturefest Yorkshire Investment Competition

Organised by Yorkshire Association of Business Angels and sponsored by Shepherd Group, the Venturefest Yorkshire Investment Competition will see up to eight of the regions finest science, technology and innovation entrepreneurs compete to win a prize worth in excess of £30,000 and the winner can also expect significant press exposure.

Are you looking for funding?

We are currently looking for entrepreneurs to present their business proposals at the Competition.  If you are a science, technology & innovation entrepreneur looking for funding and would like to be considered to present please download an application form at www.VenturefestYorkshire.net

Each entrepreneur will be given ten minutes to present their business followed by Q&A from the panel of judges.

Successful applicants will be entitled to:

• present a business to an audience of Venture Capitalists & Business Angels at the Competition
• have an opportunity to win a prize worth an estimated £30,000 of support services & advice
• a 2 metre wide exhibition stand
• publish an executive summary online for over 130 of YABA's business angels to view
• receive coaching and mentoring advice in the run up to the Competition
• network with over 1700 delegates
• the opportunity to gain PR in conjunction with Venturefest Yorkshire
• one ticket to the Gala & Awards dinner on 08 February 2012

There is a £200 fee payable to Venturefest upon final acceptance of being included into the Competition.
