Chillipeeps wins BPA Concept & Innovation Awards 2009

Claire began her work life in Wales in Process and Quality Engineering, and later working with the company who created PetrolBusters.com. Rob was working in the forestry industry. In 2000, Claire & Rob decided to move home to Yorkshire where Claire joined the family business running care homes working up to Care Home Manager, involved in all aspects of running the homes, and Rob continued his forestry management career, and now runs his own Estate Management Company.

After the birth of their daughter, whilst Claire was driving along to a party, knowing she had a carton of baby formula milk but unsure if she had remembered to put a sterilised bottle in the car, she asked Rob to check whilst ranting "why hasn't anyone inveted anything that can directly attach to the carton" Eureka!

That evening after researching baby catalogues and the internet, Claire emailed Peter Jones from Dragon's Den and on receiving an automated response saying make sure you patent it she went to the Patent Office for her free half hour session and after a session that lasted almost 2 hours because the Patent Attorney became so enthused about the product, Chillipeeps was born!

Claire has created a team of professionals around her who are helping her realise and fulfil Chillipeeps potential and take it to the Global Market.

Chillipeeps are thrilled to have been announced as the Overall Winners of the National Baby Products Association (BPA) Concept & Innovation Awards 2009.

The judges were impressed with this simple, yet extremely effective product which has the potential to be a must have item for mothers who choose to bottle feed their babies.

Chillipeeps range of a teat, spout and pourer, includes a teat in a pod that is pre-sterilised ready for first use and can be directly attached to a ready-made baby formula milk carton. Easy to attach, use, seal in-situ, remove, clean, resterilised ready for the next use.
