In total ten companies received funding; five of the investee companies were based in South Yorkshire (all from Sheffield); two were from North Yorkshire (both from York); three were from West Yorkshire (Huddersfield, Leeds and Hebden Bridge) and finally one company from Grimsby, East Yorkshire.
These businesses were able to leverage circa £690,000 from other sources, and as a result of the business angel investment 21 full-time jobs were either created or safeguarded in the region. The investee organisations ranged from start-up, early stage through to growth stage.
