A Yorkshire biotech company is bringing together experts fromacross Europe and the US for an event to discuss the latest research in in-vitro testing.

Yorkshire based companies in the healthcare technologies sector are being given the opportunity to pitch for investment through the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels' (YABA) first healthcare focused investment forum.

More than £10 million has been invested in Yorkshire & Humberside based businesses during the last four years by the region's business angel network, Yorkshire Association of Business Angels.

Two organisations supporting the healthcare sector in the region have joined forces to launch a definitive guide to funding in Yorkshire.  The teams behind the Investing in Health programme and Medilink Yorkshire & Humber have collaborated to create the guide which is a comprehensive way a raising finance through grants, investment funds, business angels and debt financing.
